Privacy Policy

This site is operated from Amsterdam by Ashraf Daoud, trading as TheContentHub (KVK 83106154). I'm the only person who reads what you send.

What I collect

The only personal data this site collects is what you voluntarily submit through one of three forms:

  • Contact form at /contact: your name, work email, company website, and the message you write.
  • Newsletter signup in the footer: your email address only.
  • Find Your Leverage signup at /find-your-leverage: your email address only.

That's it for personal data. I do not fingerprint you or build a profile of you. I do use privacy-friendly analytics to count visits, explained below.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies, so there is no cookie banner to click through. I use Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to see how many people visit, which pages they read, and where they came from. Plausible uses no cookies, collects no personal data, does not fingerprint you, and does not follow you across other websites. The numbers are aggregate and cannot identify you, and they are stored in the EU. I load no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, and no session recording. Fonts are served from this domain, not from a third-party CDN.

Where your form submissions are stored

All three forms route through Formspree, a form-handling service based in the United States. Formspree processes submissions under Standard Contractual Clauses, the legal mechanism that lets EU data flow to non-EU providers under the GDPR. Each submission is also forwarded directly to my personal email inbox. I do not export Formspree data into any other tool.

How long I keep it

  • Contact form submissions: kept until our conversation is resolved, plus up to 12 months for follow-up reference. Deleted after that.
  • Newsletter subscribers: kept until you unsubscribe. Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link.
  • Find Your Leverage signups: kept until you ask for removal, or until 24 months pass with no engagement, whichever comes first.

Lawful basis

Contact form: legitimate interest in responding to a direct request you initiated. Newsletter and Find Your Leverage signups: explicit consent (you typed your email into a box clearly marked as such).

Your rights under GDPR / AVG

You can ask me, at any time, to:

  • Tell you what data I hold about you.
  • Correct anything that's wrong.
  • Delete it entirely.
  • Send you a copy in a standard format.

Children

This site is not directed at anyone under 16, and I don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has submitted to one of the forms, email me and I'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If material changes happen, I'll update the date below. Newsletter subscribers receive one notification when that happens.

Supervisory authority

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data and we can't resolve it together, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
